3-Ingredient Cocktails for Summer

3-ingredient summer cocktails

Summers are made for parties. You are probably gearing up to attend more than a few yourself. At the same time, hosting a party does not mean you always have to go to a lot of effort to get the drinks ready. In fact, there are some great cocktails that you can quickly make with three or fewer ingredients that you may already have on hand.

The Negroni

Here is an Italian cocktail that is very easy to make. The three ingredients are gin, red vermouth, and Campari. All three should be added in equal measure to a tumbler filled with ice cubes. If you want to add a splash of color, put an orange peel on it. The drink is ready to be served.

The Martini

Just about everyone loves a martini from time to time. It might look complex to make, but it is surprisingly simple. Into a cocktail shaker, you will want to put one part dry vermouth combined with six parts of the gin that you have on hand. Don’t forget to add the ice cubes. You can either stir or shake the mixture. Just ask your guest what they prefer. You can add an olive or lemon peel for the garnish.

The White Russian

This is a wildly popular drink that has a sweet and creamy taste to it. It is usually served at the end of the evening or after a big meal. You will put in two parts of a coffee liqueur along with five parts of your favorite vodka. Combine that in a tumbler filled with ice cubes. You will add in some milk or cream and then stir it all together ever so slightly.

The Moscow Mule

Contrary to its name, this cocktail actually originated in Manhattan. It is a combination of ginger beer and vodka. If you really want to make a splash at your party, serve it in an iconic copper mug that has been chilled. It just takes one part of vodka combined with three parts of a ginger beer to make the drink. Add in the ice cubes and stir it well before you serve it to your guests.

The Kir Royale

This looks like a fancy drink, but it only requires two ingredients to get it done right. You will need to have some creme de cassis. This is a liqueur that has blackcurrant in it. Add one part of that to a champagne glass. You will then add in champagne to top it off, or you can add some white wine. You will want to garnish this cocktail with raspberries for extra flavor. Make sure that you serve it chilled.

These cocktails for summer are sure to make you a lot of friends as the host, and you will not be put out in the least in making them. They are simple and can be whipped up in no time. This gives you more time to enjoy the party yourself.
